Project finance applications and methodologies intersect strongly with the world of private-public-partnerships and infrastructure investing. Some basic understanding of the world of project finance will be increasingly important to the civil engineer. I would recommend two books:
- Principles of Project Finance by E.R. Yescombe
- Project Finance in Theory and Practice: Designing, Structuring, and Financing Private and Public Projects. Several good infrastructure case studies - including a water system and transit expansion. I would recommend this book.
